About Growing Minds

Dr. Lani Ravinovich
I am a licensed psychologist, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults.
My passion for helping children and families began during my undergraduate studies at UCLA, working with Dr. Ivar Lovaas and implementing applied behavioral analysis, through discreet trial training to teach children on the Autism Spectrum.
During my graduate program at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (APA-Accredited), where I earned my Master of Arts and Doctor of Psychology degrees, I continued work with individuals with autism. In addition, I received specialized training and worked with children presenting with ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, as well as abuse and other trauma.
Further, I trained in the PEERS Program, an evidence-based social skills program for adolescents with Asperger’s or High-Functioning Autism.
I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at the UCLA Autism Evaluation Clinic, where I obtained extensive training in evaluating and diagnosing individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Dr. Monica 'Nicki' Geller
I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to improving the health and well being of all of my clients.
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Psychology degrees at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (APA-Accredited). During my graduate studies I gained considerable experience working with a wide range of clientele. My training included working with young children in a clinic setting, middle school students on campus, adults of all ages with multiple mental health diagnoses, and adolescents and adults in the outpatient program of a psychiatric hospital. I completed my doctorial project entitled The Psychological Effects of Weight Loss Surgery in addition to lecturing all over the country about weight loss and the effects of weight loss surgery on the patient and their families.
After receiving my doctoral degree, I continued to work in the psychiatric hospital where I worked with clients presenting with depression and anxiety to schizophrenia. After leaving the hospital, I spent time working with high school students, providing therapy on campus for the students and sometimes their families. In addition to being a part of the Growing Minds team, I perform assessments and brief therapy for senior citizens in adult day health care centers.
